Today is Monday, which means it’s time for the Inspirational word of the week.

Release: (verb) to let go, to free from restraints, to allow. (noun) liberation, a grant of permission.

(I think this word is Extra powerful because it’s a verb AND a noun!)

100_1411This past month has been one of my favorite times of year. Although living in Michigan has it’s challenges, seeing the leaves change color more than makes up for them.

The trees let their leaves go, through the natural order of things. There’s no doubt that new leaves will follow in the spring time. No fear of what other trees will say about their bare branches. Only the liberation that comes from being a part of Mother Nature.

The trees and their falling leaves have helped to remind me, (and I hope you too, my friendly blog reader) to let go and give myself permission to make room in my life for what comes next. To release that which no longer serves (like fear and doubt), in order to create space for the awesomeness yet to come.

It’s not up to me to know how it all works.

I have to remember to let go of trying to control everything and be open to allowing God, (the Universe, the Divine) to help me resolve my challenges in ways that will surprise me. (As a reformed tight-ass, this is my daily challenge).

“Letting go isn’t the end of the world; it’s the beginning of a new life.” tiny buddha on FaceBook

“Just because I don’t know now, doesn’t mean I won’t know then…..Just because I don’t know how, doesn’t mean I won’t know when…..” ¬†relax your butt!

What do you think? Is there something you’d like to let go of, some permission you could give yourself that would give you the space you need to feel better?

I hope you have a wonderful week and I’ll be back on Monday with the Inspirational song of the week.

xoxo Pam

P.S. This song always reminds me of how wonderful it feels to let go, ENJOY!!!

In response to the stormy seas of life, my husband Blake and I have created this website to be a Current of Inspiration, a wave of love and joy to wash away hate and fear. By posting every week, it's our commitment to making our world a better place. We hope you find it uplifting and will share it with your friends! Thanks for stopping by! xoxo
