Today is Wednesday, which means it’s time for the Inspirational word of the week.

Pleasure: (noun) 1.the state of being pleased, gratified, delighted’s will, choice or desire. (verb) to take delight.

With Thanksgiving tomorrow, now is a good time to take a moment and think about pleasure.

cooking-thanksgivingTomorrow might be challenging, considering all of the different energies of the people coming together, as well as the cooking and stress of getting everything out on the table and warm at the same time, not to mention the clean-up afterwards. It could be frustrating, to say the least!!

Although we can’t change anyone else, we CAN change how we react to them. We can (and should) ask for help and show appreciation to people when they show up. In fact, asking for help with a pleasant attitude will ensure that the next time you ask, you’ll most likely get it!  Or, if you’re the one being asked, try responding with a smile on your face and Absolutely!!  It would be my pleasure !” See how good that feels! :)

When we find delight in each other, we become the very thing we’re most grateful for. smiling-cooking-family

It’s a blessing when we simply get to take pleasure in our family.

If the food is warm and good, that’s just a bonus!!

I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving day celebration with your family and friends, my friendly blog reader!!

Thank you so much for following along. I’m truly grateful to know you’re there!

Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!!!

xoxo Pam

p.s. Remember to keep comments from people in perspective. Don’t take nasty comments or rude remarks personally.  That only gives the person a free room in your head from which to continue pissing you off.  Do yourself and your family a favor and let it go!

p.p.s.If you’re looking for someone who believes that business, as well as life, should be a pleasure…..go check out Pauline here!!

In response to the stormy seas of life, my husband Blake and I have created this website to be a Current of Inspiration, a wave of love and joy to wash away hate and fear. By posting every week, it's our commitment to making our world a better place. We hope you find it uplifting and will share it with your friends! Thanks for stopping by! xoxo
