When you’re out in the world, sailing upon the seas of life, feeling tossed about by the waves of your challenges, wouldn’t it be nice to find a Current of Inspiration to help get you through?
Speaking from experience
I know how hard it can be to stay on course to create a beautiful life, especially with all the drama and distractions these days. That’s why I wrote, You’re the Boat: Charting a course toward a life worth looking forward to. My name is Pam Belding and I’m here to help.
Do you have a book club, support group or even a bunch of ladies looking for someone to bring in fresh ideas? Are you looking for someone who’s professional and still light-hearted and relatable? Do you enjoy visual analogies, true-life stories and deep conversations about joy and soul development? If so, then we need to talk.
Hire me to come in and speak to your personal development class, ladies luncheon or even your staff meeting. Whether in a living room, a conference hall or under a gazebo, you and your group can always expect a meaningful conversation, a good laugh and a fresh attitude. You’ll have something fun to talk about long after I’m gone.
“…an inspiring attitude adjustment, a boost of positive energy. You helped us to focus on what matters in life instead of our insecurities.” Renee’ Cannon

Dedicated to making this world a better place.
As a happily married wife and mother, as well as an unconventional life coach and speaker, I do my best to balance taking care of my family with following my dreams. Back in 2012, I self-published the Amazon #1 bestseller titled You’re the Boat: Charting a course toward a life worth looking forward to.
This book uses the four systems of a ship, Guidance, Logistics, Navigation and Propulsion to describe the different parts of your life. By seeing your life broken down into smaller parts, you can see how making small, but targeted changes in just the right area can drastically effect your entire future.
“Your attitude is a lot like the rudder on a ship. If you can keep your attitude adjusted appropriately, you can get where you need to go. But if it gets stuck, you’ll go in circles, frustrating yourself and everyone else around you”.
The analogy also offers some deeper lessons, for example, how taking care of your responsibilities helps to keep you balanced, why you need white space (it’s not what you think), and how to fortify & protect yourself. I’m currently in the process of writing the sequel, roughly titled You’re the Boat: A Fresh Perspective. Using your audience participation, I’m working to polish this book into another bestseller.
“I had the pleasure of attending a ‘You’re the Boat’ presentation and walked away with another vehicle to help me understand me. With so many tools available today, Pam’s insights and explanations are easy to comprehend, make sense and sent me home with a confidence that I can navigate through my sea of life and find peace, serenity, joy, love and laughter. I highly recommend this seminar to everyone.” Madonna Van Fossen.
Feed your soul
The sequel will include a new section which talks about function of your propulsion system which is to fill your sails by feeding your soul. The idea came from a conversation I had with a lady friend over a cup of tea. We were sitting at my kitchen table when we both came to the realization…
You can’t dig yourself out of the pit of despair. You have to feed your soul and grow yourself out.
So, how do you feed your soul? When you and your group are ready to learn more, bring me in and we’ll talk about the 7 different “spiritual snacks for the hungry and hurried”.
“Listening to Pam’s presentation really makes you take another look at your life and how we respond to the things around us. All of her information has been useful in day to day living. She has great passion for what she does and is an excellent source of information.” Kris MacQueen
