*Thanks to Gretchen Rubin for transforming her epiphany into a beautiful, 2-minute video.*
I don’t know about you, my friendly blog reader, but I sure needed that.
Life’s been busy and a bit overwhelming since we got back from NYC.
Wonderful son has finally finished school AND finished testing for his black belt in Tang Soo Do. (Congratulations!!!!!) My gardens are over-grown and in desperate need of my attention. The BB&E has started and CreekFest is right around the corner. I just got the edits back for my next book and they’re just sitting here waiting for me to turn them into something readable. Add to that a part-time job and some very aggressive dust-bunnies and you’ll find me
struggling trying to find the sweet spot.
All of these things are simply my life. My attention, and how I use it, is my choice.
I can ask for help (Thanks Molly and Garrett) and look at this glorious mess as the garden I have planted.
It’s important to step back look at the big picture sometimes.
p.s. I’ll be doing a book signing for You’re the Boat at the Michigan Artisan’s shop in Detroit’s Eastern market this evening with Jill Stodola, author of Cadavers and Cocktails. And at 2pm tomorrow afternoon, I’ll be teaching the Make your own Magic wand class at the Michigan Book Boutique. If you’re in the area, pop in and say Hi!
