I’m pretty excited!
This summer is stacking up to be very busy! Since I posted my first calendar catch-up in May, some things have changed.
My current goal is to find 334 more people who haven’t heard about the Boat and tell them about it. That way, the people who need to hear about it will get their chance, and the people who’ve already heard about it (and in some cases are just ‘done’ hearing about it already) will get a break from listening to me.
I’ve already done a number of events and to keep the ball rolling, I’ve scheduled a bunch of new opportunities over the next few weeks.
It looks like this…
July 11th Open Mic night 7pm at the Flint Institute of Arts (with Jill Stodola)
July 12th Healing heArts network meeting 9:30am @ LA Cafe in Waterford
BB&E farmers market 6-9pm Talent show @ Crossman Park in Ortonville

July 26th BB&E farmers market 6-9pm Enjoy the process Coloring Contest @ Crossman park in Ortonville
July 27th You’re the Boat Book signing 10am @ Soothe your Soul in Oxford.

*If you’ve ever thought about writing a book, a story or your memoirs but just never had the chance, my friend Jill and I will be hosting a class at the Old Town Hall in Ortonville where you can get the inspiration you need to get your story started.
Saturday, August 3rd
start 10am – 12pm lunch return 1:30 – 3pm.
Come prepared with your favorite writing utensil and a notebook (or laptop or iPad). We’ll provide coffee, water, donuts and tons of motivating questions, inspirational prompts and stories of our own to help get your story out of your head and onto the paper.
To sign up for this class, e-mail me at pam at currentinspiration dot com or message me on FaceBook so I can invite you to the FB event.
I’m still interested in doing more book signings and workshops, so please let me know of any opportunities in the SouthEast Michigan area.
It’s looking to be a very busy summer, my friendly blog reader! I hope to see you very soon!!
