Today is Monday, which means it’s time for the Inspirational song of the week.
I can’t hear this song without dancing, or at least doing a serious head groove! I totally needed that!!!
After writing my post for the Captain’s office/Mind last week, I grumbled and growled. It didn’t feel right because it wasn’t really everything I had hoped it would be. Instead of taking my time and giving the post all of the attention it needed, I felt rushed to hit publish because I had told you, my friendly blog reader, that I would have it done last week.
I realize that I am the only person creating that deadline and that you would really rather read something I enjoyed writing.
I’ve been writing the follow-up to the Captain’s office/Mind ever since last Friday. Over 7 hours of writing later and I’m not still not really sure when it will be done.
Please take a look at the links from last weeks post and enjoy this weeks song of the week. I’ll continue writing the follow-up, but for now, I can’t promise when it’ll be done. Just that when it’s ready, it’ll be something we’ll both enjoy.
Thanks for stopping by! I’m so glad to know you’re there, my friendly blog reader!
p.s. I realize God talks to me thru my son all the time. Like last night, my son was practicing reading aloud to me while my darling husband was cleaning up the dinner dishes. Wonderful son was supposed to be focusing on his inflection and enthusiasm while he reads, not just getting the words right. As he got closer to the end of the book, he started to rush the sentences, mashing them together, totally disregarding the punctuation. What was a children’s story became a monotone race to the finish. I had to gently remind him to slow down and savor telling the story. He got it and I got it too. Thanks God, your subtlety didn’t go unnoticed! xoxoxo P
