Everyone has something that they do to help themselves feel better.
Music, dancing, laughter, exercise, cooking, aromatherapy. Whatever it is that makes you go “aaaaahhhhhhh”, that’s your healing art.
If what you’re doing doesn’t make you feel better, then maybe you need to think about trying something new. Numbing out the pain doesn’t fix the hurt. It just postpones it.
Whenever I’m feeling stressed out, I take a walk, a Stretch, a nap, or spend a few minutes in meditation. I’ll call a friend or watch a funny video, write in my journal or make a piece of art. All of these things help to bring me back into alignment with my true Self.
