There are so many other things you could be doing with your time. Since you’ve chosen to spend yours looking through this website, I hope you come across something that will give you a laugh, a warm feeling in your tummy and the feeling that all is not lost.
I’ve built this (with a tremendous amount of help from my darling husband) to be a place where you can come to find inspiration, encouragement and hope. Feel free share your own inspirational thoughts and ideas, as well. My name is Pam and you can read more about me by clicking on the About me sliding window above.
I have been posting for well over 3 years now and have just re-modeled my website. Instead of posting twice a week, I’ll be posting something inspirational every day during the week. It could be a quote, a song, a picture, a video or a link to another website. If you have anything you’d like to suggest, feel free to add it in the comments.
I write this blog because it’s fun and I enjoy it. It gives me a chance to stretch my creative muscles, as well as meet other, like-minded individuals.
I hope, my friendly blog reader, that you enjoy it too!
If you don’t, please don’t waste any more of your precious time here. Go out and find something that does inspire you. If this blog doesn’t do it for you, no stress, just keep moving on. Like Van Gogh said “Inspiration exists, but it has to find you working.” I hope you find what you’re looking for.
For those of you who are still here, HUZZAH!!! Let’s get to it, shall we!!!?
Since you’re here, I’d like to first offer you my philosophy of Pink, a workable, overall scheme designed to offer you a life worth looking forward to, as well as a looking back on. When you’re done, I would LOVE to hear about what your favorite color is!
Next, is You are the Boat, an analogy I wrote after asking God (the Universe, the Divine, Allah, The Force, whomever) for help to get me, my son and my husband through home schooling while we lived in Brasil.
Time for a drink of water and good Stretch!!!
(You can do the stretch with me by following the video over here) Put your hips over your heels, and your shoulders over your hips. Connect the top of your head to that spot right between your ankles and Relax your butt! Inhale and reach your hands to the sky, up, up, up and on the exhale bring your elbows behind your ears. On the 3rd exhale, slowly bring your arms down to your sides and let all of the stress that’s been building on your shoulders come pouring off the tips of your fingers. Exhale deeply and focus on feeling thankful that you don’t have to carry that stress around anymore! Stand tall, shake off your hands and concentrate on this………
“Stay open to the balance of energies
Show patience for time to do its work
Embrace the place where life happens
By recognizing graciousness, kindness, generosity and bravery
We discover the power to create a better future
Is contained in the present moment
You are most welcome to come back here whenever you’d like, my friendly blog reader!
I’m really looking forward to whatever inspirational stuff you have to share!
Until then…..Enjoy the ride!
P.S. This blog is still, and forever will be, a work in progress. Although I am admittedly, afraid of sharing too much and not enough at the same time, I am thrilled to be here and would appreciate your inspiration as well!
P.P.S. It’s because of the love of my family, friends and heroe’s that I’m able to share this.
Thank you all. xoxoxoxox
