Smiles are blessings…Count them!

While I was relaxing with Darling husband over the long weekend, I thought about the fact that smiles are a blessing. Not just my husband’s great smile, but ALL (real) smiles are a blessing. Now that spring is finally here, and more people are out and about, it’s been a virtual bonanza of smiles around my neighborhood!

Sometimes I take this for granted, but especially since I’ve been finishing up writing Feed Your Soul in 7 days, the idea to count my blessings has been near the forefront of my mind. As I was sitting on the deck yesterday, I decided to start counting the smiles I come across during my day, just to see how many I can collect and then reflect. It can’t hurt, in fact, I think it’ll be a great practice because…

When you focus on showing gratitude for the love and support in your life, you offer a blessing in return, creating a cycle of love and happiness.Pam Belding, Feed your Soul in 7 days

Count your blessings

Count your blessings

So, I’m going to ask you to join me, my friendly blog reader. As you go through this week, keep a count of all of the smiles you come across. If you’re feeling particularly ambitious, you could separate them into smiles offered to you, smiles from you, and smiles that evolve into laughter. Just do whatever helps you more fully recognize the blessings in your life!

I’ll be posting my smile counts up on Facebook this week!┬áLet me know how it’s going for you!

Have a wonderful week!!

xoxo Pam

In response to the stormy seas of life, my husband Blake and I have created this website to be a Current of Inspiration, a wave of love and joy to wash away hate and fear. By posting every week, it's our commitment to making our world a better place. We hope you find it uplifting and will share it with your friends! Thanks for stopping by! xoxo

  1. Smiles warm the heart, even when you do not speak the same language. Smiles speak to young, old and animals. Keep on counting! You will soon have miles of smiles!
