I was thinking about spring and restoration the other day when this phrase popped into my head.
New needs a place to land.
In this promising time of growth and fresh opportunities, it’s vitally important to get rid of the old, the worn-out, the stuff that no longer serves you. Whether you are cleaning out your garden or your life, the new doesn’t stand a chance of surviving if there’s crap in the way.
You need to make space for the new to come in and grow unobstructed.
But it’s hard to let go sometimes. That fear that we won’t have ‘enough’ can be scary. Of course it is, but you can’t let that fear run your life or you’ll run the risk of becoming stuck and stagnant.
Getting past that fear and making room for what’s coming up next is an EXTREMELY empowering feeling. You make yourself stronger by facing your fears and honoring your soul.
Detach with joy.
You are meant to live well. Standing up for yourself and building confidence in your ability to know what serves you brings you new opportunities to grow and develop. Be proud of the fact that despite the difficulties, YOU are growing!
Enjoy the process.
Do what makes you happy. Wipe the guilt off and do it again. Be the benevolent force you’ve been praying for. You have everything in the world to gain. GO GET IT!!!
