Hope is an orientation…

hiro-boga-headshot*Thanks to Hiro Boga for posting this on FaceBook yesterday.*

“Hope is an orientation of the spirit, an orientation of the heart. It is not the conviction that something will turn out well, but the certainty that something makes sense regardless of how it turns out.” Vaclav Havel

In my analogy, You’re the Boat, the ship’s wheel is your heart. In order to chart a course toward a life worth looking forward to, you need to keep your ship’s wheel  open to where ever your Captain is guiding you.

If you’re feeling afraid and fearful of what’s coming up next, your best bet is to take some time every day to connect to Danielle LaPorteyour Captain, your Source, God, Allah, the Universe, the Divine. Whatever you call it doesn’t matter. Knowing you are loved and supported at all times does. Some people pray, while others meditate, do yoga, swim, garden or take a walk in nature.

Just this week, Danielle LaPorte wrote a beautiful post titled “How you can ask for — and receive–cosmic guidance” I would highly, highly recommend it.

Whatever YOU do to connect to your Captain, my friendly blog reader, I hope you find peace.

Have a wonderful weekend!

xoxo Pam

p.s. Tonight is the Healing Arts night at the BB&E farmers market. We’ll be making magic wands because faith in yourself is the strongest magic there is!  For $5 I’ll be bringing in everything you need. All you have to do is pick a stick and play!  We’ll finish them up by casting the magic into them with this spell “Always and only for the highest good of all!” If you’re in the SouthEast Michigan area, I’d love to see you!

In response to the stormy seas of life, my husband Blake and I have created this website to be a Current of Inspiration, a wave of love and joy to wash away hate and fear. By posting every week, it's our commitment to making our world a better place. We hope you find it uplifting and will share it with your friends! Thanks for stopping by! xoxo
