Be you project-Kids inspire me

*I found this on YouTube when I typed in Inspire me*

I loved this part….

“Be like a child. Be who you are and pursue what you love.”

As adults, we get so caught up in our responsibilities and expectations, that we forget to slow down and appreciate our lives.

I will admit that I am especially guilty of this. :(

That’s why I built this website, as a sanctuary on the internet. A place to go where I can be reminded of how strong, beautiful and fun I can be when I don’t take myself too seriously.

We all need these reminders.let-our-light-shine-marianne-williamson

And I’m so incredibly glad you’re here too, because you and I make the world a better place when we focus on inspiring ourselves

So, before I spend this weekend finishing up writing Feed your Soul in 7 days, I’m going to give myself a day to rest, to read a book for fun with my cat in my lap, and then have lunch with my son. I’m going to take full advantage of this snow day, while I can. :)

What do you love and how are you going to go focus on it today, my friendly blog reader?

I’d love to read about it in the comments!

xoxo Pam

In response to the stormy seas of life, my husband Blake and I have created this website to be a Current of Inspiration, a wave of love and joy to wash away hate and fear. By posting every week, it's our commitment to making our world a better place. We hope you find it uplifting and will share it with your friends! Thanks for stopping by! xoxo

  1. What if we all came to this earth knowing exactly what we’re supposed to be about, but our limited grasp of language forces us to use words like “fairy” because they are the closest words that this world can relate to?

What if, because of that limitation, the “grown ups” around us started foisting their disbelief upon us, and because they’re older, “wiser” and the people we’re supposed to look up to, we begin to believe them over our divine gifts?

I think you can look around the world and see very clearly how that all turns out.

One of the cool things about living in this time is that our kids are MUCH more empowered (for better and worse), and have a clear sense of who and what they are about in the world (again, for better and worse), from which they are much harder to dissuade. I’m excited to be living now and seeing what kind of a commotion we can bring when we all turn back toward our child-selves and reconnect to what we’re really on this planet for.
